Steenberg's Director of Golf, Ian Kennedy, and the entire Golf Operations team, raised R135,000 for iThemba Trust for the children at the Bulelani Child Care Centre on Saturday, 9 February 2013.
Ian and six other Steenberg PGA professionals played golf in a relay style format from 6am to 6pm. This formidable team of young gentlemen played 313 holes.
The trustees of iThemba and the children of Bulelani are overwhelmed by the generosity of the team and the members of the Steenberg Golf Club. The proceeds will go towards extending the facilities at Bulelani.
